Gangdong Jeongyuk Restaurant

Gangdong Jeongyuk Sikdang is a butcher-shop restaurant inside Seongnae Traditional Market in Seoul that serves beef offcuts, beef galbi-sal, and daepae samgyeopsal. Meat comes straight from the butcher counter, and hanwoo yukhoe and hoe are also available. On a Sunday at 8 p.m. there was no wait, and doenjang jjigae and salad came as basic side dishes. The bibim kalguksu has cold noodles with a perilla oil aroma, and cheese can be added to the bokkeum bap.
