Hozomon is the second gate of Sensoji in Tokyo, reached after passing Kaminarimon and Nakamise Street. Beyond the gate, which holds a large lantern and statues of the Four Heavenly Kings, the temple grounds continue separately from the shopping street. Admission is free, and the shops open at 9 a.m., so the temple can be seen first in the morning. On weekend afternoons the crowds are heavy enough to make photography difficult.
