Gyeongui Line Forest Park

Gyeongui Line Forest Park is a 6.3km linear park built on the old Gyeongui railway line, starting right at Exit 3 of Hongdae Station. A bike path and a pedestrian path run separately along the former tracks, lined with cherry trees and shade, and cafes and restaurants sit alongside so walkers can stop and rest. Construction began in 2012 on the Daeheung-dong section and the full route was completed in 2016, with a public toilet near Gongdeok Station. On the forest path between Sinchon and Hongdae, the park lighting is dim at night.
