Ilgu Hyang Mandu is a dumpling restaurant inside Namhang Market in Busan that serves xiaolongbao, dim sum, and beef noodle soup. Seasoning is light, so the ingredients' flavors come through, and the tantanmen is finished with bean sprouts and Sichuan pepper while the wontons come in a mild broth. Ordered food arrives quickly and classical music plays in the dining room. If the Namhang Market public parking lot is full, you have to park nearby and walk, and the tantanmen and mala dishes carry strong Chinese spice and Sichuan pepper notes that can be overwhelming if you are sensitive to aromas.
