Geolsin Matjip

Gilsin Matjip is a Korean restaurant near Gangnam Station in Yeoksam-dong that serves Namdo-style dishes such as hongeo samhap, bossam, and kimchi jjim, along with lunch options. Its signature dishes are aged kimchi jjim and hongeo samhap, and in the evening customers order assorted jeon with makgeolli. At lunch, gangdoenjang barley rice is served with vegetables and gangdoenjang to mix in, and jeon is not available to order during busy hours. The gomtang and gangdoenjang are on the salty side, and the old facility carries a musty smell.
