Veteran Kalguksu

Veteran is a Korean restaurant in Jeonju Hanok Village that serves kalguksu (knife-cut noodles), jjolmyeon, and dumplings, with perilla seed and egg in the noodles. The signature kalguksu comes with a thick egg broth topped with perilla seed powder, chili powder, and seaweed flakes, and thin noodles. The dining room is large and turnover is fast, so even with a line you get in quickly and the food arrives fast. On weekends tourists crowd in and the tables are pushed together, making it crowded.
