Sinbaengi Kimchi

Sinbaengi is a restaurant in Jeonju's Hanok Village that serves kimchi kongnamul gukbap and bibimbap. Its signature dishes are red kimchi kongnamul gukbap and white kimchi kongnamul gukbap, and the side dishes are cabbage kimchi, gat kimchi, and kkakdugi. A kimchi master makes the kimchi, and the red gukbap comes with an egg yolk on top, while a poached egg is not served separately. The kimchi broth has a strong sour taste, so it does not suit anyone expecting a mild kongnamul gukbap.
