Jungang Ssalhotteok

Jungang Ssal Hotteok is a small food stall in Jeonju Jungang Market selling glutinous rice hotteok and odeng. The hotteok has a thin, crisp outside and a chewy inside with a strong vegetable flavor. The stall has run for over 40 years, and two grandmothers have been grilling the hotteok there for a long time. Takeout hotteok can be reheated in a pan or microwave, and the odeng comes with one egg and can serve as a meal.
