Honggaok is a kongnamul gukbap restaurant in Jeonju. It serves rice cooked by the traditional Jeonju Nambu Market method, topped with crisp bean sprouts and accompanied by house-made ojingeo jeotgal. The suran is made with animal-welfare certified eggs, and gomso saeujeot and gat kimchi are served alongside. The broth from the rice cooking is on the lukewarm side.
