Tonkatsu kotetsu Ueno

Tonkatsu Kotezu is a tonkatsu restaurant in the basement near Ueno Station, serving rosu katsu and hire katsu. The thick cuts are fried slowly at low temperature to keep the meat juicy and tender. The basement space is small and seats about four to five groups, and the low-temperature cooking means food takes time to arrive. Prices are higher than at other tonkatsu restaurants.
