Tangkiyo is a yakiniku restaurant in Akihabara that serves grilled beef tongue as its main dish. The standard tongue is thicker and chewier than at other yakiniku restaurants, and it is also served salted. Reservations are taken by phone only, and the restaurant seats customers from 6 p.m. The basement dining room has no foreign-language menu, and translation devices do not work well there.
