Makotoya

Makotoya is a tendon and fried food restaurant in Ueno, between Matsuzakaya and the train tracks, a two-minute walk from Okachimachi Station. The tendon comes with shrimp, kisu, squid, eggplant and pumpkin, and both the tendon and the fried set meals are fried to order. The shop has about two tables and four counter seats, warm tea is served, and the owner handles both service and cooking alone. Food takes around 30 minutes to arrive, so it does not suit a hurried meal.
