Hakata Furyu Ueno

Hakata Furyu Ueno is near Ueno Station and Uenoyokocho, and serves tonkotsu ramen and garlic oil ramen. The broth is rich with less pork smell, and comes with bean sprouts, ginger, and spicy red chili powder, while extra noodles are free up to two times. At the kiosk in front of the entrance, you buy a meal ticket and hand it to the staff, then choose your noodle firmness. The shop is small, so there is a 10-15 minute line during meal times, and the basic noodle portion is on the small side.
