Tongyeong Undersea Tunnel

The Tongyeong Undersea Tunnel connects Tongyeong and Mireukdo. Completed in 1932, it is Korea's first undersea tunnel, and construction photographs from the time hang on its walls as you walk beneath the sea. The reinforced concrete tunnel runs 483 meters long and reaches a maximum depth of 10 meters below sea level, with toilets at both entrances. There is not much else to see inside the tunnel.
