Somaemuldo

Somaemuldo is an island about 1 hour 10 minutes by boat from Tongyeong, and it takes in both the main island and the lighthouse island connected to it by a sea path. At low tide the Yeolmokgae path opens so you can cross to the lighthouse island, and the shore runs along vertical sea cliffs and large rocks. From the dock to the lighthouse island is about 1 km, comfortably covered in 1 hour, with sunrise seen from the wooden deck and sunset from the sea side in front of the pension. The route to the lighthouse island continues over stairs and steep ups and downs, so sneakers and water are needed.
