Harmonica Yokocho

Kichijoji Harmonica Yokocho is a narrow alley shopping area near the north exit of Kichijoji Station in Tokyo. Small bars, Chinese restaurants, seafood rice bowl shops, and ramen shops line the alley, mixing old establishments with newly opened ones. Weekends bring heavy foot traffic, but the alley is empty in the early morning, making the difference between time slots clear. On weekday nights at 9 PM, the shopping area closes and few bars remain open.
