The Tree Frog Conservation Area sits inside Xiangshan Park in Taipei's Xinyi District, about a minute and 36 seconds on foot from Xiangshan Station Exit 2. It is an ecological space where you look over the grass and plants along the walking paths and listen for frog calls, which can be heard at night. There is no separate trail leading into the conservation area, so observation happens from the outer walking paths. A daytime visit makes it easy to miss both the frogs and their calls.
