Fisherman's Wharf is a seaside tourist area in the Tamsui District of Taipei, a walk from Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf Station. It is a place to watch the sun set over the Taiwan Strait and the sea and mountain scenery, with Lover's Bridge and the harbor as the backdrop. Lover's Bridge is a white cable-stayed bridge that is lit at night, and the riverside wooden boardwalk runs about 320 meters. During the day the wooden boardwalk is quiet and many shops are closed, giving it a deserted feel.
