Dihua Street is a traditional market street lined with shops selling Chinese herbal medicine, dried fish, tea, fabric, and snacks, located between Beimen Station and Daqiaotou Station in Taipei. The street dates to the late Qing dynasty as a wholesale district, and its old shop buildings have red brick facades and Baroque-style architecture. Weekday mornings are quiet, while before Lunar New Year red lanterns and temporary stalls appear, and fabric and button shops cluster around Yongle Market. Many shops close in the evening.
