101 Tower Photo Spot

The 101 Tower Photo Spot is on the sidewalk across the traffic light from Taipei 101 in Xinyi District, Taipei. At the Guofu Memorial Hall reservoir, you can photograph the tower reflected in the water, and from the parking lot diagonal to 101, you can frame it in a close composition. At night the tower's lighting comes on, and a wide-angle lens around 20mm captures the full height of the building. From this spot, surrounding buildings block the view, so the entire tower is not visible.
