Iwon Sikdang is a 50-year-old octopus restaurant in Iwon-myeon, Taean, serving san-nakji dishes such as baksok milguksu nakji-tang and nakji-bokkeum. The clear broth is made with live octopus from the waters off Taean, baksok, and large scallions, without seasoning or additives. Diners briefly cook the octopus and eat the legs first, then keep boiling the body, and later sujebi and kalguksu are added. Each serving comes with one octopus.
