Suyu Gamjatang is an old gamjatang restaurant in Suyu, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, serving plain gamjatang and versions with dried radish greens, mushrooms, or kimchi. The broth is mildly spicy and seasoned with garlic, and sujebi (hand-torn dough soup) is added so the starch thickens it. Opened in 1974, the restaurant has separate men's and women's restrooms and parking. The kimchi is a weak point.
