Jaeyeong Tongdak

Jaeyoung Tongdak is a small chicken restaurant near Suyu-ri in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, serving old-fashioned fried chicken and yangnyeom chicken. The yangnyeom sauce is slightly spicy, the fried chicken is eaten with salt, and ddeopjip twigim can be ordered as well. One grandmother fries the chicken alone in a cauldron and also hands over takeout orders placed by phone in advance. There are only a few tables in the shop, so customers wait when no seat is free.
