Tongyeong Myeolchi Guksu

Tongyeong Myeolchi Guksu is a neighborhood noodle shop near Bangi-dong in Seoul that serves myeolchi guksu, bibim guksu, and sujebi. The myeolchi guksu, made with a clean anchovy broth, is the signature dish, and bibim guksu, yubu chobap, and mandu guk are also on the menu. Orders are placed and paid for at the counter before sitting, and the small space includes a table for solo diners. Seating runs short during meal times, so parties of one or two, or visits outside peak hours, work better.
