Tenpura Gamchun Jamsil Branch

Denpura Gamchun Jamsil is a Japanese restaurant in Songpa-gu, Seoul that serves a tempura omakase course. The course includes conger eel, shrimp, asparagus, and carrot, fried to order in a thin, crisp batter, with sashimi and salad served midway. At the counter, the chef presents each piece of tempura with an explanation, and the lunch course brings rice and soup right away. Even with salad and lemon sorbet between the fried courses, the tempura course is on the heavy side.
