Saegaram Sun Memil

Saegaram Sun Memil is a restaurant in Seoul that makes its own sun memil noodles and makguksu in-house. The deulgireum makguksu highlights the nuttiness of perilla oil and the plainness of sun memil, while the hanwoo gomtang holds meat in a deeply simmered broth. Bibim noodles are served as well, and the overall seasoning is balanced rather than heavy. The Pyongyang-style mulguksu is lightly salted.
