Naru Modeumjeon

Narumo Modum Jeon is an old jeon restaurant on the first floor and basement of the Jangmi Apartment commercial building next to Jamsilnaru Station in Songpa-gu, Seoul. It serves modum jeon, kimchi jeon, and sujebi (hand-torn dough soup), with jeon cooked to order and eaten with makgeolli. Meat-and-mung-bean jeon, pollack jeon, and minari jeon can also be ordered. After 7 p.m. on weekdays the seats fill up, with waits of 30 minutes reported, and when the first floor is full, orders placed in the basement annex are cooked in the main first-floor kitchen and brought down.
