Megibonga is a freshwater stew restaurant across the main road from the legal town at Munjeong Station in Seoul, serving megi maeuntang and chamge megi tang. The stew contains catfish, chamge crab, and freshwater shrimp, and comes with vegetables and sujebi (hand-torn dough soup), finishing with a perilla oil fried rice. It opened in June 2003 and has kept the same menu in one location for nearly 20 years, with three catfish served when three people order a medium size. The broth is not heavily salted, so it tastes bland as an accompaniment to alcohol.
