Johyang Jokbal

Johyang Jokbal is a neighborhood jokbal restaurant in front of the courthouse in Songpa-gu, Seoul, serving jokbal, spicy jokbal, and naengchae jokbal. The front leg meat has a soft rind that melts when warm and tender lean meat, while the kongnamul-guk has a cool taste. Regulars have been coming since it opened five years ago, and the refrigerator holds lagers from Korea's three major breweries. Indoor seating is limited, and the front legs and ingredients run out early, so orders cannot be placed by those who arrive late.
