Jang Kaljip is a small restaurant near Seokchon Ancient Tombs in Seokchon-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, serving jang kalguksu and deulkkae kalguksu. The jang kalguksu comes with four levels of spiciness, and the broth has egg stirred into it, with myeongtae hoe muchim or jumeokbap on the side. It is open for four hours at lunch only, and the wait is usually about 40 minutes. The dining area is small and tables turn slowly, so lunchtime queues are common; a bowl of rice is free if you ask the staff.
