Jeontong Halmaejip

Jeontong Halmaejip is a home-style Korean restaurant in Busan that serves braised mackerel with aged kimchi and doenjang jjigae. The kitchen braises whole mackerel with a generous amount of aged kimchi using old-style and homemade doenjang, and serves samgyeopsal with assorted ssam vegetables, kelp, and salted fish innards. The restaurant has operated in the area for a long time, prepares its own side dishes and well-fermented kimchi, and provides plenty of ssam vegetables. The seasoning is on the strong side, so it does not suit people who eat blandly.
