Haeseong Restaurant

Haeseong Sikdang is a meat restaurant in Songjeong-ri, Busan, where samgyeopsal (pork belly) and pork ribs are grilled on a pot lid. The samgyeopsal is scored and weighed on a scale when ordered, and kimchi, gosari and kongnamul can be grilled on the pot lid alongside the meat. The restaurant has operated since the 1980s, and the first order of samgyeopsal starts at three servings. There is no parking lot nearby and no ventilation, so smoke fills the space from the entrance.
