UYA Unagi Singapore (Wheelock)

UYA Unagi Singapore (Wheelock) is a Japanese eel restaurant in Wheelock, Singapore, serving hitsumabushi and unagi donburi. Hitsumabushi is eaten by first having the eel plain, then mixing it with wasabi, scallions and seaweed, and finally pouring tea over it to eat it like scorched rice. The medium size is an appropriate amount and the unagi donburi itself is good. Because it is inside a shopping mall, the dining space is a bit busy.
