Toast Box (Raffles City)

Toast Box (Raffles City) is a breakfast restaurant in the basement of Raffles City Shopping Centre that serves kaya toast and Nanyang-style coffee and tea. The kaya toast set comes with coffee or tea and either two soft-boiled or hard-boiled eggs, and peanut butter toast, French toast, mee siam, and laksa are also available to order. On weekday mornings the line of locals is longer than on weekends, and even after ordering online the bread must be picked up separately at the counter. Staff rush foreign orders and respond rudely to customers asking about the menu.
