Deokhwajang is a Chinese restaurant near Dongguk University and the Shilla Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Seoul, serving uni jjajang and tangsuyuk. Its main dishes are uni jjajang, tangsuyuk, and fried meat, and the tangsuyuk stays crisp even after sauce is poured on it. The restaurant has been run by two generations since 1970 and is known for its handwritten menu board and warm tea. The uni jjajang style tastes lightly seasoned, so opinions are divisive.
