Seongsimsa

Seongsimsa is a Jogye Order temple in a residential neighborhood of Hwagok-dong, Seoul, where prayer services and 49-day memorial rites are held. It is small but has a main hall, a Gwaneumjeon, and auxiliary facilities, and lunch of temple food is served after the 49-day rites. Set inside a housing complex, it stays quiet even in the middle of the city. Parking is sometimes unavailable because of the alley.
