Simya Sikdang Tei is a Japanese-style izakaya in Seoul that serves hoe, soups, grilled dishes, and fried dishes along with a range of drinks. The kitchen makes its own anju, including shimesaba and beef tongue nabe and daechang nabe, rather than reheating prepared food. The small space seats about 15 people at a mix of counter and table seats, and konnyaku and quail egg simmered in soy sauce come out by default. With few seats, sitting together as a large group is uncomfortable.
