Megaro Gyzi is a small museum in Santorini that shows the island's history. It occupies an old Venetian family mansion in a narrow alley near the Catholic cathedral in Fira. The displays cover the period from Venetian rule to recent times through documents, photographs, and paintings. Going through all the exhibits takes about 30 minutes, and the museum is closed on Sundays.
