Ancient Thera

Ancient Thera is an archaeological site on the island of Santorini, set high between Perissa and Kamari. Rock and building remains are spread over a wide area, and the summit gives a view of Perissa and the island. The walk up from Perissa is difficult, and you keep walking through the site after reaching the top. The remains can feel modest compared with the effort of the climb.
