Macheu

Matsu is a counter-style izakaya in a side street of Sangam-dong, Seoul, serving aged sashimi, yakitori and various anju. The omakase course recommended by the owner pairs dishes made with that day's ingredients with a range of sake chosen to match your taste. The owner explains how to eat each dish and describes it as it arrives, and the counter seats face a clean open kitchen. The shop is small with few seats because it is built around the counter.
