Ramen Touhichi

Ramen Touhichi is a ramen shop near Shugakuin Station on the outskirts of Kyoto. Its signature dish is tori shoyu, a chicken-based soy sauce ramen, and it also serves a niboshi ramen limited to 10 bowls a day and a creamy chicken broth ramen. From Kyoto Station, take a bus and walk about 8 minutes after getting off, and traces remain of the spot once run by its former sister shop, Ramen Suguru. It sits far from the busy district with few tall buildings nearby, making the walk difficult in summer.
