Omen Ginkaku-ji

Omen Ginkakuji Honten is an udon shop near Ginkakuji and the Philosopher's Path that serves hand-made udon. The noodles and broth come separately, and diners put sesame, burdock, and seasonal vegetables into the broth and dip the noodles; the cold udon is chewy and the hot udon is softer. At lunch, waits ran from 20 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. The mackerel sushi has a fishy taste.
