Hinode Udon is a neighborhood udon shop in Kyoto that you can stop by while walking the Philosopher's Path. Its main menu is curry udon, and it also serves warm udon and soba. On a weekday at 11:15 a.m., two parties were already ahead, and entry came after a wait of about 20 minutes. Seating is limited, payment is cash only, and the curry udon and broth are on the salty side.
