Grill Kodakara is a Japanese-style yoshoku restaurant next to Heian Shrine in Kyoto, serving omurice and hamburg steak. The omurice comes with ketchup-flavored rice and demiglace sauce, alongside hamburg steak and cream croquettes. It opened in 1961, and its special demi-glace sauce is cooked for more than 18 days. Waits during meal times can run over an hour.
