Heungjeong Gyegok is a valley in Bongpyeong, Pyeongchang, where people swim in clear, cold water. Water flows down from Heungjeongsan and Hoeryeongbong, and children catch marsh snails and fish in the shallow sections. Pension complexes run along the valley, paid parking lots appear at intervals, and beginners can ride mountain bikes on the valley path. In August it is crowded even on weekdays, so it does not suit anyone looking for a quiet place to swim.
