Daekkiriya

Daekkiriya is a pocha-style restaurant in Dongnae, Busan, serving shellfish and seafood stews made with scallops, octopus, and abalone. The seafood is boiled in a large basin and eaten with a generous amount of broth. The broth can be refilled, and kalguksu noodles are cooked in the remaining broth. Shellfish stew is also available for takeout, with instructions for cooking it at home, though the shellfish are not fully purged of sand, which can be gritty when chewed.
