Higokatsu

Higokatsu is a restaurant in Izumizaki, Naha, serving sushi and Kumamoto regional dishes. Its signature items are assorted hoe and mackerel Matsumae sushi, the latter eaten without soy sauce. The raw fish is aged briefly, the mackerel sushi is lightly cured, and ingredients are brought in from Kumamoto. Prices are on the high side.
