Menya Yukou

Menya Yukou is a ramen shop in Karasuma Oike, Kyoto, serving ramen made with shellfish broth. Its main dish, Hachiku, uses a broth that draws out the savor of oysters and clams, balanced with sweet soy sauce and paired with medium-thick noodles blended with whole wheat. The chashu comes as three large rare slices, and chashu rice bowl can be ordered alongside. Hachiku has a mild shellfish aroma.
