Yamada Gohei Mochi

Yamada Kohei Mochi is in the castle town of Inuyama Castle, where it grills kohei mochi. Each skewer holds three small rice cakes, brushed with a salty miso sauce and grilled after ordering. The shop occupies a building registered as a national tangible cultural property, with a small tatami space inside where customers can sample the mochi. The sauce is on the salty side.
