Yakitori Shomon is an izakaya in Gongdeok and Mapo where diners can eat chicken-skewer omakase while looking out over Gyeonguiseon Supgil. The six- and nine-skewer courses are grilled over charcoal, with abalone rice cooked in a pot, steamed clams in alcohol, nabe, and ice cream available as accompaniments. The skewers include cartilage, negima, heart, chicken neck meat, tenderloin, and tsukune, each with a different texture and flavour and a distinct charcoal aroma. The skewers are served one at a time, allowing diners to eat the omakase slowly.
